Onetime racer. Cross-country tourer. Shop mechanic. Longtime fanatic. I’ve been involved with cycling in one way or another for nearly my whole life. After 10+ years of success as a marketing consultant and writer, I’ve started Echelon Cycle Works to channel my passion for cycling into building fine handmade steel frames.

While I build Echelons alone, there’s a whole team behind me that enables me to pursue my passion. My wife, Philippa, and my daughter, Miranda are the two most important members, but there have been innumerable friends, colleagues, and complete strangers who have believed in what I’m doing and supported me in every way imaginable.
